How To Make Imroz Efi Almond Cookies?

1

First, roast the flour in a pan for about 8-10 minutes. Finish the roasting process without changing the flour color. Leave the flour to cool.

2

Put the butter, powdered sugar, baking powder, vanilla melted at room temperature in a deep bowl and mix until they penetrate each other.

3

Meanwhile, chop the raw almonds either with a knife or with a rondo. We prefer mince with a knife.

4

When the flour has cooled, add it to the butter mixture and start kneading, and in the meantime, add the olive oil. (There is no olive oil in the original, there is egg) The reason for adding olive oil is to ensure that the dough can get a consistency and give form easily. When the dough is ok, add the almonds and knead well again.

5

Break off small pieces from the dough and roll them in our palms and arrange them on the baking tray that we put baking paper.

6

While shaping the cookies by hand, open the oven at 180 degrees and heat it up. Throw the cookies into the hot oven and bake for about 30 minutes until the tops are slightly pink. Baking time may vary depending on the type of oven, so check constantly.

7

After baking, let the cookies cool. When cool, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

8

Serve as shown in the figure. Enjoy your meal!
