One of my favorite vegetables is potatoes. I love them in any form and never get tired of eating them. This recipe is both practical and delicious, a potato dish that solves the problem of "what should I cook for dinner?" It's a great minced meat and cheddar cheese potato moussaka!

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin round slices. Place on the baking tray and pour 2 tbsps of olive oil on it and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes and set aside.
Put the butter in a saucepan and fry the minced meat. When the minced meat is absorbed its own broth and roasted, add the garlic and onion and continue frying.
Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes and finely chopped green pepper and continue frying. When the tomato juice is released and the peppers are cooked, reduce the heat and add all the spices and mix.
Grease your baking tray and lay the potatoes on the floor, then pour the minced meat on it and spread it out.
After laying the remaining potatoes on the minced meat, sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on it. If your baking dish is small, you can do this as a double layer of potatoes and minced meat.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven at 170 degrees fan setting, then for another 5-6 minutes by turning on the top and bottom setting only. Remove from the oven when the top is browned. Bon appetit!
