During this time, peel the boiled potatoes and crush them thoroughly with a crushing apparatus or fork.

2

Start kneading by adding flour, egg, salt and nutmeg to the mashed potatoes and get a soft dough.

3

Take pieces of the dough and make 1.5 cm thick slightly flattened rolls as seen in the photo on the floured surface, and then cut them into 1 cm pieces.

4

Roll the 1 cm by 1.5 cm pieces of dough you cut, by rubbing lightly on the back of the fork so that the fork marks are removed.

While doing this, put water on the stove and boil it.

5

After applying this process to all the dough, throw the gnocchis, which are slightly spiral-like, into the boiling water.

The gnocchis are cooked when the dough pieces rise to the surface of the water for about 6-8 minutes.

6

Take the cooked gnocchi with a strainer and place them on the serving plate. Then pour the sauce on it and sprinkle with chopped parsley or basil and serve. Bon Appetit!
